Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:  

Today's double-six rated image lies in the parent fractal that appears when 0.355 parts of Z^4 are subtracted from Z^3 on each iteration before straight C is added.  This parent consists of a fairly normal appearing Mandelbrot set rotated 180 degrees, with large bays at the end of the main filaments.  The largest bay, located at the end of the main spike, is mostly filled with a large fragment of a kind of East Valley.

I consider this valley fragment strange because it is filled with curiously shaped minibrots, some of which are quadratic, others cubic, and still others of the 6th degree.  The valley also abounds with minibrots that fit into no category, much like the weird fishy one in today's image.

I named the image "Pisces Ascending" because of the obvious fish-shaped minibrot swimming to the left.  Pisces is the Astrological sign of the zodiac that the sun passes through in the month of March.  Astrology is considered a superstitious pseudo-science by those who know that the distant planets could have no measurable effect on the fortunes and characteristics of people on Earth.  At the same time, it is known to be a true science by those who spend their lives calculating horoscopes.  As for myself, I'm somewhere in the middle.

The calculation time of 1-3/4 minutes will pass faster than Madam Zucchini can cast a horoscope.  It's in the stars that the only thing faster is the trip to the FOTD web sites to view the finished image.

A mix of clouds and sun with a temperature of 61F 16C brought out the best in the fractal cats and humans here at Fractal Central today.  The next in the infinite series of FOTD images will be posted in time.  Until the exact time becomes revealed, take care, and the world would be a peaceful place if it were not for the other side.
