In today's image we're down to Z^(1.009) yet the interesting images keep coming.  I named the scene "Undersea Garden" because something about it reminds me of an undersea scene.

The parent is another oversized torpedo-like open area with patches of semi-chaos spotted along the edges.  Today's scene is obviously located in one of these chaotic areas.

The rating of two 'bangs' indicates my surprise at finding something worthwhile this close to Z^(1) (or straight Z).  If I find anything even closer to unity in future FOTD's, I'll increase the number of 'bangs' in the rating.

The big drawback is the calculation time of 12 minutes, but relief is available as always on the web sites.

A great mid-April day was fully enjoyed by both cat and humans here at Fractal Central today.  The temperature of 66F 19C and partly cloudy sky could hardly have been improved.

The next FOTD will soon be posted.  Maybe we can find something even closer to unity.  Until whenever, take care, and a certain woman I know well, who claims to want nothing more than peace on earth, feels that we should withdraw all US military troops from foreign countries.  This makes good sense, but this same woman's favorite music is 'classic rock', including protest music from the Vietnam War era, which all too often seems violently angry to me.  And when I played 'The Planets' for her, thinking she would enjoy 'Venus, the bringer of peace' she surprised me by naming 'Mars, the bringer of war' as her favorite section.  Women are sometimes truly hard to understand.
