Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:  

Today's image lies in the parent fractal that results when 4 parts of Z^(-1.4) are combined with 0.4 part of Z^(-12.6) before (1/C) is added on each iteration.  This parent fractal vaguely resembles a Mandelbrot set rotated 180 degrees, with a double Seahorse Valley setting off the main bud.

This valley has two branches on both the north and south sides.  On the north side the branches diverge as they approach their limits, but on the south side, the branches converge and merge into a single valley.  Today's image lies in the area where the two branches merge.

The name "Briskly Efficient" can mean whatever the viewer decides.  To me it refers to the rather brilliant coloring, which earned a rating of 8.  The math is the decade-old MandAutoCritInZ stuff, so I could rate it no higher than a 5.

The image is a rather slow one, requiring up to 12 minutes to finish on today's average machine.  To make life more rewarding, the web sites are always online.

Today dawned foggy here at Fractal Central, but the fog quickly cleared away, leading to a perfect day, with the usual photoshop blue skies, cottonpuff clouds, gentle winds and a temperature of 75F 24C.  The three fractal cats and two fractal humans agreed.
