Today's image is a rerun, but it is such a good rerun that I gave it a superior rating of 9-1/2.  The image is a scene in the Seahorse Valley area of the Z^2+C Julibrot, sliced in a direction about halfway between the Oblate and Rectangular orientations.

The reason for the name "Lake of Dreams" will be obvious once the image is viewed.  The ripples on the 'water' appear in perfect perspective, while the coloring so closely resembles water that it makes me thirsty.

The calculation time of 45 seconds will add to the enjoyment.

The clouds hung tough here at Fractal Central today.  Fractal Cat Nicholas carefully checked the hall closet to be sure Cassie was not in there, then settled on the scratching post for most of the afternoon.  The humans once again made it through the afternoon with nothing to report.  The next FOTD will be posted on Sunday.  On Saturday I'll be in Baltimore, checking Old Fractal Central to see it it's prepared for a big storm expected early next week.
