Fractal
visionaries
and enthusiasts:
The name of today's image -- "Evaporated but Present" -- gives away the
big secret -- the image is an evaporated one. The one-googol
value of the imag(p3) parameter is yet another give-away.
The scene lies in the same indescribable parent fractal as yesterday's
image, though in a different part. In its entirety, this
parent is truly indescribable, but it does somewhat resemble a snowman
that has toppled over and is lying flat with its head facing east.
The rating of a 6 was held back because the colors seem a little washed
out, but a rating of a 6 is still above average, and with a calculation
time of only 1 minute, what is there to lose.
Lots of clouds, occasional sprinkles of rain,
and a chilly temperature of 52F 11C spoiled things here at Fractal
Central on Monday. The fractal cats spent most of the morning
squatted down in the sulk position, so I suppose they got no more
enjoyment from the conditions than the humans did. Both my
day and FL's day went along uneventfully. The next FOTD will
be posted in 24 hours. Until then, take care, and if one were
to go back in time and shake hands with his younger self, would he
remember both sides of the handshake when he returned to the present?
