Fractal visionaries:

Today's fractal is a real quickie.  It appeared rather unexpectedly while I was testing an outlandish formula I had just written.  The central shape reminded me of one of those schmoo creatures that appeared long ago in the Al Capp "Lil' Abner" comic strip.

The formula itself, with six variable parameters, uses hyper- complex numbers to draw four-dimensional mandeloids, but it is quite unpredictable, in fact nearly out of control, and is still being tamed.  When I get it under control, however, it will probably be a keeper.

The finished image is posted as always to ABPF.  BTW, the ABPF spam-cancel bot appears to be working better than I had hoped.  The junk is way down.  I think the porno spammers are getting the message.
