Fractal
visionaries
and enthusiasts:
Today's scene lies at the eastern edge of the blade of the prominent
'fan' in the oversized parent fractal that results when 11 negative
parts of Z^(-1.1) are combined with 1.1 negative parts of Z^(-11.1) and
(1/C) is added on each iteration.
The name "Lofty Aspirations" can mean whatever the individual
fractalist wishes. To me it represents the endless search for
better fractals.
The art aspect of the image is worth an exceptional 8, mostly due to
the brilliancy of the image. The math rating of a 7 is still
above average, though held down by over-use.
The calculation time of 4-1/4 minutes borders on slowness. A
quick trip to the web sites can speed up things notably however.
Light snow fell all day today here at Fractal Central, but with the
temperature hovering just above freezing, it did nothing more than wet
the sidewalks. The fractal cats took one quick glance outside
and
decided to catch up on their sleep. The humans, who are
already
caught up, spent the day wondering when spring will arrive.
The next FOTD will most likely be posted tomorrow. Until
then,
take care, and even the person beside you could be a Boltzmann
brain. This is scary enough, but what if I am nothing more
than a
lonely Boltzmann brain floating in an infinite and timeless space of
maximum entropy?
