Today is Saint Patrick's Day here at Fractal Central, and over the rest of the world as well.  In honor of the occasion, I added a touch of green to today's image, which shows a partially eroded minibrot on the northwest shore line of the main bay of the HyperMandelbrot set, which lies in an 8-dimensional Julibrot that I have no intention of getting into.

Change the real(p3) or real(p4) (or both) parameters to zero and see the minibrot before it was eroded.  Surprisingly, the maxiter is now far too low to show the uneroded minibrot, which indicates that everything within the outer circle of the image is new stuff existing only in the higher-dimensional part of the Julibrot.

The rating of 7-1/2 includes a bonus for honoring the day.  The name "Green for the Day" acknowledges that it is a special day for the Irish.  The calculation time of 6-1/4 minutes is slow.  Luckily, the web sites can relieve fractal slowness.

Cloudy skies and a temperature of 39F +4C made the outdoors rather unpleasant here at Fractal Central today.  The fractal cat and fractal humans had a typical uneventful day indoors.

The next FOTD will be posted in the proper time frame.  Until whenever that is, take care, and be of sound mind and body, but don't let the mind and body get too noisy.
