Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:

The tension continues to increase here at Old Fractal Central as the time of the move to the New Fractal Central grows ever nearer.  Fractal lady and I find ourselves snapping at each other over things that normally would pass hardly noticed.  So far, the tension has not rubbed off on the fractal cats, who most likely consider humans silly creatures anyway.

Today's image takes us 343 levels up the logarithmic ladder to check a Julia set of the Z^(1.3)+C fractal as it appears there.  The Mandeloid at this level resembles an upside-down teardrop with a few minor buds scattered around the edges of the main teardrop bay.  The corresponding point of today's Julia set is located in the center of the narrow southern part of the large teardrop-shaped bay.

Most of the image consists of inside points brought to life by the 'bof61' inside fill.  Several of the other active inside fills also work with today's image, but the 'bof61' fill works best.

As has been the case so often lately, I neither named nor rated today's image.  I have no excuse.  I just didn't feel inspired.  But named or not, the image calculates in 12-2/3 minutes on my tired old computer.

A record high temperature of 77F 25C here at Old Fractal Central on Friday, combined with bright sun, greatly pleased the fractal cats, who were in the yard from 10:30am until sunset.  Strangely enough, only the friendly black cat from two doors up the hill showed up for a visit.  When the duo finally came inside, they were ready to settle for the night.  My day was continued very busy.  The next in the long series of FOTD images will appear in 24 hours.  After that, I will probably have to miss a few days.  Until tomorrow, take care, and be one.
