Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:

Today's image lies in the same parent fractal as yesterday's, but while yesterday's image was evaporated, today's is rendered in the usual equal-iteration-band, inside-outside, manner.

The result of all this manipulating is an image that reminds me of a happy star, (and who can show that stars have no emotions?).  I named it "JoyStar" and rated it at an 8, equal to yesterday's image.

With a calculation time of 2-1/3 minutes, today's image demands a modicum of fractal patience from those who choose to calculate it.  A simpler and faster way to enjoy the scene is to check in at one of the web sites.

The day began with rain and thunder, but by noon things settled into a mix of sun and clouds, with a pleasant breeze and a temperature of 77F 25C.  The fractal cats as well as the fractal humans had average days.  The next FOTD will be posted in more or less 24 hours, with no guarantees given or implied.

Until whenever, take care, and some say the physical universe is an illusion created in the mind and projected outward, while others state that the mind is an emergent phenomenon of the neural activity of the physical brain.  But, since the brain itself is part of the physical universe, the brain must also be an illusion created in the mind.  It seems to me that we have a circular-logic situation of an illusion creating an illusion.  What the heck then, if anything, is real?  My answer -- fractals!
