Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:

Today's image rates a 7 -- nothing wrong with that!  It's a scene in the Zexpe fractal calculated PI levels up the log ladder.  This parent fractal has two main buds, one on the southeast shore of the main bay, the other on the northeast shore.  The northeast bud is more of a cove than a closed-off bud.  Today's image lies rather deep in a valley on the north side of this northeast cove.

I named the image "Burgundy Zexpe".  The deep red colors of the six radiating arms remind me of the color of that wine made in France.  The rating of a 7 is just far enough above average to be interesting.  The calculation time of 1-1/4 minutes will pass in a flash.

Saturday was a day of nothings here at Fractal Central.  It was not sunny; it was not cloudy; it was not hot; it was not cold; it was not wet, nor was it dry.  The sky was a hazy white color, with a blurred sun filtering through.  Exactly three drops of rain fell, while the temperature was a perfectly average 84F 29C.  The fractal cats had an average day, which means checking for intruding cats every so often, eating, playing, and sleeping.

My day was average also, as was FL's.  The next FOTD will be posted in 24 hours.  Until then, take care, and search for the secret key.
