This is the politically correct version of today's FOTD.  The first version, which I posted by mistake, uses the actual name of a soft drink as its title.  The title of this version is the antithesis of the title of the first version, and should offend no one.

Today's image is a quickie, yet still manages to rate a 7.  It shows a tiny order-7 minibrot in a parent fractal that on the surface is a perfect Mandelbrot set.  Today's scene is located in a curving filament in the north branch of the Seahorse Valley of the minibrot lying around -1.48 on the main stem of the parent M-set.

The name "Seven-Down" does not hint at a soft drink.  It refers to the order-7 nature of the scene.  Finding an image in such a short time, which still rates a 7, is more than I had hoped for, but sometimes near-miracles do happen.

I spent all day Saturday at Old Fractal Central, so I can't say how the weather was at New Fractal Central, but when I returned in the evening, the fractal cats told me things had been satisfactory, with lots of clouds and a temperature around 73F 23C.

The next FOTD will be posted in around 10 hours.  Until then, take care, and even though it is scientifically impossible to foresee the future, I know that precognition does happen.  If science is correct and reason rules, as skeptics claim, I am either lying, deluded, or engaging in wishful thinking.  But what if reason does not rule?
