Fractal
visionaries
and enthusiasts:
Today's image is lies in the same parent fractal that gave us
yesterday's image. But instead of lying in the fan itself,
today's scene is located in a field of chaos extending from a spurious
bud just beyond the eastern limit of the parent's 'fan'.
The rating of a 6 on the new scale is about equal to an old rating of a
7.
The name "Rhythm in Chronons" came to mind a chronon after I decided to
name the image. The 4-D spacetime universe actually extends
in time as well as in space, and just as the Plank length is the
shortest possible spatial distance, a chronon is the smallest possible
duration of time.
The calculation time of 1-3/4 minutes is neither notably fast nor
slow. It is about what would be expected for a fractal on a
2000mhz machine.
All problems connected with fractal calculation may be avoided by
checking the finished image on the currently active FOTD web site at:
http://www.emarketingiseasy.com/TESTS/FOTD/jim_muths_fotd.html
The original FOTD web site, which has existed for 14 years, is
located at:
http://www.Nahee.com/FOTD/
My own web site is very nearly ready. One remaining problem
is that a lot of the old links are no longer valid. (Do I
hear murmurs that my site has supposedly been nearly ready for
months? Very soon these doubters will have to eat their
doubts. [But I'm not sure how a doubt might be seasoned.])
The rain ended Wednesday night here at Fractal Central, but the clouds
hung on all day Thursday. When the temperature got no higher
than 48F +9C Thursday afternoon, the fractal cats grew disgusted and
released their frustration tearing up a carpet and chasing each other
up and down the long hallway. The humans' day was quite busy
also.
The next FOTD will be posted in 24 hours. Until then, take
care, and be eager to experience whatever may happen.
